The Blue Grass Team's Service Day
A Day of Transformation
Blue Grass employees from various departments came together to plan and organize the event. On September 11, under a bright Indiana sky, the Blue Grass team arrived at St. Elizabeth Catholic Charities with gloves in hand, and a shared enthusiasm for making a difference. Our dedicated employees spent the afternoon working diligently to transform the outdoor spaces of the facility.
What We Did
Lawn Care: We mowed and trimmed the lawns to create a welcoming and well-maintained environment.
Weeding: The team also worked on cleaning up mulch beds and existing sidewalk foliage for visitors to enjoy.
Hedges: Bushes on the side of the property received a much-needed trimming and the clippings were collected in a recycling container.
Community Engagement
Throughout the afternoon, we had the opportunity to engage with a few of the staff and volunteers at St. Elizabeth Catholic Charities. It was heartwarming to hear a few of their stories and learn more about the vital services they provide to our community.
